## Research notes
MCP server released March 11, 2026 (community announcement date). First release "focused on scheduling workflows" (availability management, event-type config, meeting booking, link generation). Requires an MCP-compliant client supporting MCP 2025-03-26+ and streamable HTTP - ChatGPT's free tier doesn't support custom MCP connectors, so Calendly's MCP isn't reachable there without a paid ChatGPT plan. 2026-09-07: https://mcp.calendly.com returned 401 to an MCP initialize POST (https://mcp.calendly.com).
